Hello.
The game I mostly play is csgo. I play in fullscreen windowed and get around 250 fps average. I want to get more fps without playing on fullscreen mode. What parts should I upgrade to get more fps?

My specs are :
Cpu: amd fx 6300 6 cores 3.5 ghz
Motherboard: msi 970a gaming pro carbon
Ram: 8gb ddr3 1866hz
Gpu: Powercolor R9 280X

Solution
Most games will only use 4 or less threads, this is starting to change with modern games but is why usually an 8 thread i7 usually performs similar to a 4 core i5. CSGO is known to be very dependent on CPU single core performance, its just not designed to use multiple cores. The FX6xxx and FX8xxx series have cores about 1/2 the power of modern Intel CPU's so if a game cannot use the multiple cores/threads the FX CPU has a significant disadvantage.

At 250fps+ I don't see why you would care to get more.

My guess is your cpu, it has weak single core performance. Monitor your cpu usage while gaming and I expect 1 or 2 cores are near 100%.

Only solution if correct is a platform change to Intel or Ryzen. No CPU that fits in a FM3+ motherboard will give any material benefit. You could try overclocking if you have a good cooler and PSU
