Tried to build a new pc but it won't post. I have breadboard(ed) the components - psu, mobo, cpu & hsf, RAM.

Components:
CPU = Intel Pentium G4560
Cooler = stock
MB = MSI B150M Grenade
RAM = Samsung M378A5143EB1-CPB (2x4GB kit)
PSU = EVGA 430W (100-W1-0430-KR)

Symptoms:
1.) When power is turned-on the heatsink fan and psu fan spins.
2.) DRAM LED on mobo lights-up for 2-3 seconds then turns off.
3.) No post beeps.

If RAM is removed from the mobo and then booted up:
1.) When power is turned-on the heatsink fan and psu fan spins.
2.) DRAM LED on mobo lights-up steady.
3.) Post code 3 beeps - according to MSI website memory error, it is expected as there is no memory in the slots.

Troubleshooting steps taken:
1.) Used a Corsair DDR4 2400MHz to check (from another unit) but still same symptoms, no beep if RAM is installed and 3 beeps if RAM is taken out.
2.) Used DMM to measure voltage readings on pins - all are within spec.

Please help on what is the likely isssue, should I RMA the mobo or the CPU?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Solution
B150 motherboard needs BIOS update with 6th Generation Skylake CPU to use a 7th Generation Kaby Lake CPU.

Another option is to use a B250 Chipset motherboard.

Thank you Calvin7 for your help. I will try to see if i can get hold of a Skylake CPU. It just sucks that MSI website states that mobo is compatible with G4560, I wish they would put a disclaimer so buyers can be aware of the solution you proposed.
