even then 450W should be enough but we have to wait for real benchmarks for the total power draw to be released

as for units that are affordable - this varies heavily on your location
for example: XFX is very affordable and cheap in my country compared to other brands, while it's the other way around for example in Japan

usually affordable units are
XFX Core / Pro / TS (450/550W)
Corsair CXM (450/550W with grey letters, avoid the 430/500/600W)
Super Flower Golden Green / Golden King (450/550W)
Seasonic G (450/550W)
Seasonic M12II-Evo (520W)
Antec Truepower Classic (550W, I think there's no 450W but I could be wrong)
Antec HCG (520W)
EVGA SuperNova GS / G2 / B2 (550W, since the G3 release you can get them pretty cheap sometimes)

WOW!! thats an amazing pc with the kabylake cpu.

I'm considering tha you have a minimum of 1tb of storage plus other stuff like disk drives.

the gtx 1060 is not a very power hungry gpu.It requires a 6 pin power connector and 400w min.
So a decent branded psu (like corsair, cooler master, EVGA) of 500w should be enough.
but its always better to go for a higher power psu just to stay safe so i would personally go for 550w psu.
but the 500w should be just fine because i've seen some of my friends using a similar pc with just 450w.

all 500W PSUs by Corsair, Coolermaster & EVGA are actually junk
with a 91W TPD CPU and a 150W GPU 450W is already more than needed

you might wanna go for a 4GB RX480 instead of the 3GB 1060

I meant that a good 80+ psu of corsair they are more than enough for that setup.
And the rx 480 is never a better option man. the 1060 is best for most modern games.
the 4gb rx 480 has only 7gbps memmory clock but the 3gb 1060 has 8 gbps memmory clock.

Well, can you give some specific models (that will not cost my arm)?

also,i changed my mind from i5 and will now buy ryzen r5 1600x.
But i don't think that would make a change to the psu ,or would it?
