how do i get to all of them to show so i can choose which ones I want to re load? its a sony cyber shot -W830....was loading stuff on an external hard drive this morning and somehow deleted 3 months worth

But....Copy everything that exists on the SD card to the PC.
Sort it out later.

What are you talking about? Want to upload camera pictures to your PC directly?
If so, merely plunge the camera to your PC and try to copy and paste the desired images to your computer.
However, if you only want to upload some pictures that had been deleted for 3 months, the best way for you right now is to try some phone memory card deleted photo recovery apps searched online, like

iCare Data Recovery Free-100% freeware
PC Inspector
TestDisk
And always save camera photo backups all the time, if you do not want to get such problems again.
