Hello.
i have seen many topics about that error before but it doesn't work for me.
+ I went to start and type msconfig. Go to boot tab. In advanced options, uncheck maximum memory. Check (and type 8192) or uncheck doesn't work
+ I tried one stick, it recognizes 4GB and fully usable. My main has two sticks. i tried both stick and both ram, it shows same result (4GB and fully usable).
+ I typed "1" in ClearPageFileAtShutdown, not work.
+ i have already installed window and updated bios. It's not helpful.
+ i cannot seek "extension memory" function or something like this in my bios.
Please help me!!! My English is not good, i hope u fully understand. See my picture -- http://imgur.com/xKDKII0
Main: MSI A55M-E33
Ram x2: Gskill 4G F3-1600C11S-4GNS
I appreciate your help.

This issue can also be caused by drivers so get the lastest driver. Note not the ones from your MSI motherboard page. Go to AMD for their newest chipset driver and Realtek for the lan and audio drivers. Make sure you see the RAM in bios because if not showing correct in bios then you may have a bad stick.
