Extremely high cpu usage.

i recently bought a new motherboard and a cpu, i got a i5 4590 and a h81m-p33. the cpu was fine for the first few days, but then i started to notice my cpu usage was hitting 100%. i was playing watch dogs 2 and my cpu usage was 100%. then i started playing csgo and my cpu usage was 100%. i tried recording csgo and it stuttered ALOT, it was unplayable. i also tried disabling intel c-state and that did nothing. its a 4590, i should be able to record csgo. All help is appreciated :D thanks in advance. i also have a gtx 960 and 8gb of ddr3

im not too sure how many cores are at 100%, i only checked the overall usage, i am using a gtx 960, and i am running pretty much max but no msaa

Hmmm odd, My old i7-2600k and the GTX960 I've got here are never locked up like that w/ any of my games. I'm not running at max in most games, some I do without issue.

With Windows 10, also check the HDD activity, is it high or just the GPU?

the hard drive usage is fine, mostly 0. sometimes it spikes up to 35 when it loads new area's. But yea. hard drive is pretty good. its just my cpu.

Yep, everything is plugged into the gpu, im getting around 250 fps while surfing. The only problem is that i have high cpu usage and i cant record with fraps

i was able to fix this by installing windows on a faster hard drive. The one i was using was 7 years old. since i have installed on a newer hard drive windows is faster and my cpu is only 70% while playing csgo and recording is fine now

i just got an ssd a few weeks ago, and it is really really really fast, and helps alot with recording, i didnt know why everyone was raging about ssd's for and why their so important, But i got a 120gb sandisk one for 80 bucks, i do not regret buying it. i cant live without it ! also i forgot to pick your answer as a solution, i will do that now, sorry for the late reply
