In terms of time invested, what game has absorbed you the most? Have you ever pulled a 20hr over 2 days weekend marathon? What game could you not wait to get home to play more of?

Gtav is the game for me. I have roughly 1700hrs played due to some medical stuff a little while back that gave me about 8 months to just play games. It was my first Gta and i played the crap out of it. I played 16 hours in my first session.

It is kind of wearing out because the performance has been disappointing and i have a lot of modded money and there is nothing to play for anymore. But Gta is probably the best game investment i have ever made.


For a more Unique, less generic answer. My game of choice lately has been warthunder.

Me and a couple friends have been playing it and it is leagues better than world of tanks and has the most fair progression i have ever seen in a F2p game.

I've lost a few entire saturdays or sundays to a game of Civilization, Pokemon, Everquest (a week for that one really), a few other strategy games as well, games that aren't too stressful...
...
...
and LoL... so much time wasted on that, so many days spent playing only that not eating for like 16 hours straight...
I hate that game.

I'm not proud of it, but Garry's Mod.
I have over 2000 hours clocked into it on steam. Aside from that, GTA:SA has probably sucked up at least 300 hours, TF2 is another 1300 at least, and in my younger years I spent more time on Minecraft than I'd like to admit.

Oh yeah, MMOs are probably the biggest time sinks in gaming. Especially something like WoW. Once you start it's hard to stop.

I have three titles with more hours than any normal person should admit to. I would argue though that if I enjoy a game I play the bejeezus out of it, because I like to milk that value haha.

They are all around similar hours spent (18-1900)
BFBC1 - My first multiplayer addiction. Clan scene, battles everything. Total gaming love.
H1Z1 - Between BR mode and Survival I put sooo many hours into this game.
The Division - Current - gets slated by most, and it does have a vast array of issues, but for some reason I love it. Game of choice for now.

Still looking for that next 500+hr game.

Since we’re here, I played Everquest heavily for 7 years, practically every day. Nothing will eclipse that but the Battlefield series in total, starting with 1942, would be second.
