I just build a new computer and I followed the instructions online and in the manuals and it won't boot up. It's suppose to have a blue flickering led when turning off the computer but it doesn't do it. All fan LED's work but it won't boot up to bios. I also see the power led on the case when you turn it on come on for a split second and it repeats. When I was building it when it and testing it it would start (didn't had a processor at the time) and the computer would take a few seconds to turn off but now it turns off fast

Solution
remove your graphics card, all hard drives, and all ram sticks.

insert only 1 ram stick, making sure it is in the correct slot as listed in the motherboard's manual, as it's not always the first slot.

connect only these cables coming from your power supply into your motherboard...
24pin atx power connector
8pin(sometimes it's 4pin) cpu power connector

now connect these cables coming from your Case to your motherboard...
-HD Audio
-for power and other buttons look in your motherboard's manual and find JFP1, connect these cables as shown in manual to JFP1 header on motherboard.

now connect cpu cooler fan to cpu fan header

now connect your display cable you will be using to the motherboard's display port on the i/o shield, and other...

boot the pc up and if it works you should automatically go into BIOS, or atleast have a prompt on screen
