Will GTX950m run dual monitors, using 1 for gaming?

Not even a big game, I want to use a HDMI splitter for two monitors.


One monitor for 2x Oldschool Runescape
Second monitor for something like Netflix/Twitch.


Will the gtx950m overheat if I do this?
Both monitors are 1920x1080


Also I'm using a HDMI > 2x DVI splitter if that even matters

Seems like you're on a mobile computing device, mind sharing the make and model of your unit? I'm sure there is a better alternative than splitting one HDMI output. Have you considered USB driven monitor output hub(s)? The latter would mean that you have one monitor that accepts HDMI input and another that accepts either a DVI or a VGA input.

This is the laptop I'm running on: https://uk.hardware.info/product/373456/acer-aspire-e5-575g-56bx/specifications

The monitors I use are both DVI, the problem is the lack of input ports on my laptop.
Also this is just a temporary solution for dual monitor until I get a PC (this summer)

So I was wondering if my laptop could take this kind of power
