So in my front panel audio jack, the sound going to my headphone is getting picked by my mic along with my voice.
It's not a direct connexion between the two, but like if I was using speaker and the mic at the same time. It's doing this even when the mic is unplug from my computer.
(i can plug an extension cable for both mic and sound in my front audio jack and leaving the other end of the extension unplug and the mic will record the sound from my computer.)
When using the rear IO of my motherboard, the effect is extremely reduce to what I think could be consider normal.
My headset is not the problem, could be my motherboard of a malfunction of the front panel of my case. I contact phanteck and they will sell me a replacement PCB for the front panel at 20$. However I dont want to waste my money and time changing the PCB.
If it's a motherboard problem, I could buy a sound card i guess but I dont want to if it's a case problem.
Could it be software issue?
My motherboard is a Asus Maximus Hero VII
My case is Phanteck Enthoo Luxe
My headset is Kingston HyperX cloud

First please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS.
Second, make sure your motherboard BIOS and the drivers for your integrated sound card is up to date.
Third, go into Sound Manger and under recording tab, properties, remove the tick on the box, listen to this device.

To rule out the issue have you tried connecting your headset off the rear audio ports? Front panels can fall victim to poor quality control but often not on the audio on such a somewhat high end motherboard. Oh, are you on the HyperX Cloud I or II?
