Good morning,

I started having an strange issue with my Notebook gaming performance for the past week. Basically what happened is that after I Overclocked my GTX 960M, my gaming experience has`nt been as smooth as before.

The Graphics Card is pretty solid, but some triple A`s games require a bit of a push to run properly, so I downloaded the EVGA Precision.

What I was trying to run at the time was Assassin`s Creed Unity, and after OC`ing, the game was running like I wanted to, temperatures were at maximum 65°C and the game nowadays still runs pretty well.

But strangely enough, games that used to run really nice and smooth, like FIFA 17 and Assassin's Creed III have been really strange. FIFA which used to run at unlimited fps rate totally okay, now have a bit of stuttering that annoys me a bit, I have to cap at 60fps to start running without any issues. What really changed was ACIII, with everything on Ultra in the past it used to run perfectly, now have a lot of problems, the game stutters, the camera movement is REALLY fast, the resolution is kinda off (though I can't confirm that), the fps is crazy.

I tried to Overclock the ACIII, but everything gets REALLY fast making it a chore to play. Anyways, hope anyone can help me.

My Notebook specs are:

GTX 960M 4GB, GDDR5 (Hynix)
8GB of RAM
Intel Core i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60Ghz

1| Have you tried reverting your GTX 960M's clocks to it's previous settings/clocks? Essentially running at stock clocks?
2| Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your games after the overclock? rovided you performed the overclock after the games were installed and they ran on your previous clocks.
3| Can you state the make and model of your gaming laptop?

Yes, I have already set the clocks to Default, and I still have the same problem. I will be trying to reinstall the games and will report back later on.
I have the Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming Edition
