So i worked so hard to save money and i'm planning to build SR-71's Anxiety as my first custom build PC but i'm not sure about MSI X99A Raider because of the reviews. Could someone please tell me which motherboard that i can use other than that ?

Here is the complete build :

DEEPCOOL Tesseract SW

Intel Core i7-6800K

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING

Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2x4GB)

MSI X99A Raider

EVGA 650 BQ

Seagate Barracuda 1TB HD

And should i use EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING or NVIDIA GeForce 1080 ?

I'm planning to play Mass Effect : Andromeda with this..

Solution
So as far as the motherboard goes, the Asus Z170-A or the Asus ROG STRIX H270F are great boards. As far as which 1080 to get, the FTW edition won't be too much more on the performance side of things. If you can wait, the 1080ti is coming March 5th (I think?) and will be an insane performance boost to the normal 1080, that will cost about $700 for the founders edition. Prices will drop as time goes on and aftermarket companies release their own versions.

EDIT: The ASUS ROG STRIX 1080 does have higher clocks than the FTW edition, if you aren't willing to wait for the ti version

Oh my gosh, I totally forgot about Ryzen release. I would also recommend waiting on the build till Ryzen and the 1080ti are released. You can get your cpu and a normal 1080 for cheaper

Why is it most people on this forum say: "Wait for Ryzen intel will lower their prices" AMD spent years and probably millions of it's revenue in R&D to develop Ryzen. Intel has done nothing but to sit on his balls and milk us consumers by charging the same amount of money( no matter what processor generation you buy) for the last ten or so years.

Intel will NOT lower their prices and here's why: just look at the i3-7350k this was intel's attempt to mitigate the "Ryzen effect" while they still didn't have something new to compete with Ryzen. Almost no one buys it 'cause not only doesn't have any value (you can have an actual 4 core cpu for the same amount of money) and also to overclock it you need a Z-series mobo which costs more than a "B" or "H" mobo.

Give AMD some credit at least, that's what i'm trying to say... beacuse if all of you people is going to still give money to the company that sh*tted on you and couldn't even care less about your wallet for the las years... i don't know what to say man, 'cause AMD is helping us all here and feels wrong not to even support what this company has worked so hard to give us competitive, high core count, great performance cpus.

Sooo. Should i buy Ryzen,instead of i7?

Seeing as ryzen releases today & people will have their preorders delivered this morning then you should certainly wait 2-5 days for people to test & post proper benchmark results.

The latest leak shows the 1700x losing (albeit very slightly) in a gaming bench suite test.
Stock clocks & at 95w tdp (& with 2cores/4 threads extra to spare) that is still a very good result though.

Steer clear of the evga ftw cards entirely unless you have a rock solid guarantee that these have been upgraded to fix the vrm overheating issues.

okay,i'm so sad that i need to wait for another month after 1080 Ti release so i can buy it in my country then i need to pay $1.122.59+ for it because of shipping tax and some corrupt stuff :(

i will just wait for the Ryzen's results then...

i'm from Indonesia and i hate it. Government are taking our money and they increased the shipping tax from in and out.. damn money launderers..

not many people can afford to be a Reseller for these kinds of things since it expensive to mass-order it and not all people can buy like $450 for a PC component. Since it's more expensive,so yeah.. i guess only like 25 people out of 100 can buy 1080 Ti.
Because of that, a reseller that can afford those things making the price go insane since not many reseller can Pre Order these kinds of things nor order them from outer Indonesia..

Resellers are monopoly-ing stuff here, even the shipping will take like a month to 3 months

i get you man... in my country an i5-7600k can cost you as minimum as $500 USD good thing i have a mailbox in miami to buy stuff from the U.S so i can save some money ( could get that i5 for $320 in total cost, meaning it includes taxes and shipping) but even then is very risky as i can't sent back a graphics card for example if it's DOA or if it gets lost/stolen in the shipping progress.
