I upgraded my graphics card from a gtx 660 to a gtx 1060 few months ago. When I plug in the 1060 with the sound card I don't get any display input,When I only have the 1060 in works fine any way of getting the sound card(asus xonar dgx(asm) ) to work with the 1060

Specs:

MSI Z97 Pc Mate
GTX 1060 6GB
I5 4490k
16GB 2400MHZ

There is no i5-4490K from the Haswell lineup. There's an i5-4590K and an i5-4690K. You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU as well as the other components connected to the PSU.

You also need to explain or illustrate the location of your GPU and the sound with respect to your PCIe slots on the board.

First time doing something like this,

Cpu: i5 4690K
Connect to the PSU is front case fan,Samsung SSD EVO 850(250 GB), Toshiba 1Tb Hdd,GTX 1060.
PSU is OCZ Zseries 650 w
Ram is Kingston DDR3 2400 MHZ

http://i.imgur.com/Q9rMoU8.jpg That's the empty slot where the sound was when I had the GTX 660 in,bottom of that is the 1060. I have put the 1060 into the bottom blue pci e port but with the same outcome no display input fans are spanning fine on the gpu.
