Windows 10 on Acer Aspire X1200-U1520A

Hello I have a Acer Aspire X1200-U1520A

I am trying to install Windows 10 on this PC

I have no problems installing Windows 10 but every time it starts up the computer freeze at the windows logo screen and then crashes and restarts it's the same thing with Windows 8.1 installs with no problem but freezes at logo screen

What I don't understand is this PC has the same specs as my Dell Optiplex 360 and I'm able to use Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 on it with out any problems

I expect its a driver issue as if it was hardware it may have reared its head during install.

PC had Vista on it at release, that tells me its age, and tbh I more surprised your other PC works with 10 if it is same age. I think the main difference is the chipset the Optiplex used was made by Intel and though they no longer support the chipset, there are win 8 drivers that would be good enough.

I don't know if the nvidia chipset the PC is built on is supported by Windows 10.. the last drivers I can find for it are 2010 so I have my doubts.

My last PC had an Nvidia chipset and I didn't even contemplate upgrading it to 10 as it was getting too old. I would put Win 7 on the PC as at least there are...
