HI, I am building my first desktop since 20 years ago. I purchased the following PSU: Arc-650M

https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182300&cm_re=arcm650-_-17-182-300-_-Product

I have never installed a modular PSU before and was assuming the cables to come included, but thy weren't. I have two issues:

1) All The modular connections for Peripherals is 6pin with the top three all rounded "D" shaped and the bottom three all square. EVery cable I have searched for is two "D" shaped and one square both on top and bottom, meaning they won't fit.

2) The specs and Rosewill tech support say it has 2x 8pin PCIe, 4x 4pin Peripheral, 6x 5pin SATA, and 1x 4pin floppy connections. But i see only 1x 8pin PCIe, 3x 6pin Peripheral, 0x SATA, 0x floppy. I am sure I am missing something that probably has to do with pin-outs, but all the PSUs I have purchased in the past had all the cables already installed in them.

Its semi-modular 24 pin motherboard and 4+4 pin eps was all that was included. If you zoom in on the first pic you can see what am talking about with the pins for the peripheral/SATA/floppy

I am only concerned with the connection on the back of the PSU the motherboard is connected fine, but the female connections on the PSU are 3 rounded pins on top and 3 square pins on bottom. I am looking to purchase cable for these but all i can find are top (2 rounded pins and one square pin) and bottom (one square pin and 2 rounded pins)

I have considered that and they have no cables for sale on their website. And tech support is just quoting stuff from the "manual" if you call it that

Freak thing from Rosewill's packaging dept. But after all the hassle, the poor quality of the customer service, and the fact that their website makes no mention of the modular cable set in the contents specs, I am returning it to newegg and ordering the same model in non-modular. This saves me $25, a few days time (shipping wise) , I have plenty of fans in the mid-tower, and the PSU is overkill for the non-gaming PC I'm building anyway.

Oh, and the cables are all daisy chained that why the physical connections on the PSU and the Specs didn't match up in my mind. Don't perfer it that way should I ever need a dual graphics card, but not a deal breaker since it may never be used for gaming anyway.

Thanks to all again!
