Issue involving System Recovery

Hi all, I have recently installed my new HyperX Fury 8x2GB DDR4 memory ram to my PC and it has gave the starting beep and directed me through the bios. It started the start Windows and then it came up saying System Recovery. So I did what anyone would do and restarted my system and it was still on there. I haven't touched any of my components for a few months as I've been saving for these ram sticks. I have left it on a system restore where it's trying to go back to a point before Christmas. Am I best just seeing what the system restore brings? Or is there anything you can suggest I do?

Solution
If you had windows installed onto your old motherboard and you are now using a new motherboard with the same install. You will want to re-install windows as that is whats causing your issues. There will be drivers and things in the registry that were specifically for the old motherboard, so it would now be 'confused' that there is something totally different trying to run it. Thus giving errors and such. That and Windows will likely ask you for a key due to there being a different 'computer ID' from a new motherboard.

All in all, it's best just to do a completely fresh install of Windows and you will likely have no issues.
system restore comes up when the system feels like there must be something wrong/corrupt in the registry.

I would try reverting back to your old memory and see if it boots fine.

If it boots fine then your memory is bad.
It it has the same problem then it is just coincidence and go ahead and let system restore run to see if it gets computer working again.

I haven't touched the PC since I put the mobo in, I put a new cpu and mobo in before Christmas, then left it and then put the ram in when I had enough to buy it.

I had the operating system of Windows 7 on my old mobo which I used with a disk. Are you implying I need to install an OS onto this new mobo? I thought it was stored on the hard drive.

Probably, did you try updating the GA-H110M-S2H chipset/motherboard driver in safemode?
