There isn't a better CPU to do what you're asking at any price. If you're wanting to go full out bonkers wait till March 5-6? I think that is the 1080ti release date

There's nothing that computer would be bad at. The official reviews will all be out tomorrow to confirm this but I've seen enough credible leaks to know it'll be an awesome setup

A 1080ti comes out in a few days you might consider waiting until it comes out

I would do 3 things different than supahos...

1- 3 terabyte barracuda, instead of a 2 terabyte (price difference 10-20 bucks).

2- a 960 evo pro, no just the 960

3- 64gb of ram, BECAUSE DREAM BUILD! :p

Since money isn't a problem, here's a build that would destroy anything you throw at it.
You really don't need to occupy all four RAM slots of his motherboard, since X370 doesn't support quad-channel.
Fast M.2 storage.
Big HDD, for your videos.
Best PSU in the world.
Fast RAM.
The GPU can still be upgraded to Titan X(Pascal) SLI. One Titan X costs ~$1600, it's not worth it. Besides, we don't know if it's better than the 1080Ti.

@Lakimens, half of those components are stupidly overpriced, high end does not mean blow money on unnecessary stuff.
The only justifiable high end product in there would be the SSD.
The RAM, HDD, Case and PSU are all overpriced, as is the cooler.
A H5 is plenty.

No, they aren't. Here's why:
-The RAM is one of the cheapest 32GB kits on PCPP.
-For now, this is the best of the available options on PCPP, I know the H5 is better.
-1TB is $50, $50 * 4 = $200, $220 for 5TB.Still overpriced?
-PSU is not overpriced, it's the absolute best on the market. If I had a ton of money, I'd get this PSU too.

Ah right, the RAM is indeed a good deal.
However, while the Seasonic Prime is a good PSU, you can get a high quality 850w for half the price, extremely unnecessary, it adds nothing to performance etc.
You can get a 3TB Barracuda (7200RPM) for $89.
WD Blacks are good drives, but not necessary in regular use unless doing heavy data transfer regularly, which in this case should be handled by the SSD given the video rendering background.
A 1TB SSD might actually be a good investment tbh for all the video, with the HDD storing games etc.
You could get double the storage and setup a raid redundancy array and still be at the same cost.
Point is, a WD Black should be cheaper per TB than that generally, i've seen 4TBs go for around $180 usually.

I've been using WD drives for ages as well as Seagate, and I can tell you the only difference between them is warranty length.
Given there is no budget restriction you can technically go all out, but that's money I'd spend other places, even if I did have no cash restriction.
Its a matter of value, even in high end.

You could go for a 6950X, 10TB worth of solid state drives, 1080tis, a 1400w PSU and the fanciest monitor on the block, but at what point does that cash become wasted?
Also 64GB is probably a better choice for the video.

The WD Black is a bit overpriced, but it's much faster and more reliable then your normal Seagate Barracuda. The only other option is the one benched here:
http://hdd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/WD-Black-5TB-2015-vs-Seagate-Barracuda-Pro-6TB-2016/3907vs3900
He's doing video editing, so reliability might be a good factor for him, since he doesn't want to lose his videos. He's ready to spend a bit more, why not add reliability? You do have a point though.

Seasonic PRIME, I would put this in my build if I had the money, just because it's the best one right now. I know you can pass with a G3 or an RMx. I was planning to put a 850W RMx in the build at first, but then I though, price doesn't matter, so why not.

I also thought of the 1TB SSD, but it would have to be a SATA SSD, because of the pricing of the M.2 SSD's.
