currently im getting idle temps of 50-60c and underload temps of 87c Stock. im using a corsair h115i and ive already tried it on a i7 870 and didnt get over 50c underload. strange thing is when i oc the 3770k to 4.6gh at 1.3v the idle temps aswell as the load temps dont change. and yes i have made sure the overclock wasn't applied when testing stock temps.

i tried it with cheap no name thermal paste, antec diamond and currently artic silver. ive adjusted it multiple times just to check if it wasn't seated correctly, each time i adjusted it ive applied fresh thermal past. ive gone through 20$ of artic silver ive never had this problem before. i also tried with stock intel cooler and idled at 65c and hit 105 junction at max, also tried a h50i and idled at high 50c and maxed out at 96c all under stock 3.5-3.9 turbo
