Hello, recently my CPU (I7-4790K) has been hitting 90% CPU usage while playing games or watching Youtube videos,
Ex: CSGO usually runs at around 270 FPS, however it's been at 60 FPS and has been stuttering.)
The problem arose when I did two things:
Installed MSI afterburner (Uninstalled now.)
And opened up my CPU fan to clean it.
I also however which may have contributed to the problem, applied thermal paste without properly cleaning the old thermal paste off of the processor. This was about a month ago.
If I could get some assistance that would be great.
