Blue Yeti Microphone Problem

My microphone has been outputting a soft static noise. In the past when people complained about static they could hear from my mic, the problem was usually fixed by connecting the power supply to something other than the computer. However, as far as I know, the Blue Yeti only has a power/input combo.

Is there a way to separate the input and power supply or other possible fixes?

Solution
given that the issue seems to have been fixed in the past by changing the power source there are a few products which might be worth looking at. i cant make any promises though.

-powered usb hub plugged into seperate power outlet
-usb ground isolator with built in low noise power supply

it sounds like you certainly have some electrical issues going on. it could be anything from EMI due to unshielded cables, variable output on the psu, poor connections or poor ground. tracking down such problems can often be a bit time consuming.
