I have a Cablevision ISP to Motorola Modem to Netgear 16 port giga switch to 4 netgear wifi routers WNDR 3300. I can not get the routers to work. It seems only one of the routers will work at a time. Any help how the routers should be configured would be appreciated thanks!

Solution
Set them as access points not routers. Connect them LAN to LAN except the first one that connects to the modem, that is the only one connected via its wan port. Disable DHCP on all but first router. Disable firewall on all but first one.

Thanks for your quick response I don't know if the ISP allows four - is it necessary that I have four different IP addresses?

This is a good idea. Thank you. I do however have three PCs hard wired throughout the house not in the same place I would like to place the wireless routers

So in this case your looking like this:

ISP > Modem> Router > 1 Wireless switch
---------------------------- > 1 Wireless switch
---------------------------- > 1 Wireless switch
---------------------------- > 16 port gigabit switch > 1 Wireless switch
------------------------------------------------------------ > Computer 1
------------------------------------------------------------ > Computer 2
------------------------------------------------------------ > Computer 3

OR

ISP > Modem > Router > 16 port GIGA switch > Computer 1
--------------------------------------------------------------> Computer 2
--------------------------------------------------------------> Computer 3
--------------------------------------------------------------> Wireless switch 1
--------------------------------------------------------------> Wireless switch 2
--------------------------------------------------------------> Wireless switch 3
--------------------------------------------------------------> Wireless switch 4

Hope this helps :)

That I don't know. You may need to give static IP addresses to things. I've never networked this big before. But to stop confusion between devices a static IP should help.
