Is my PC underclocked?

Hello everyone I have been having this issue ever since November so quite some time. The performance of my PC went from what it's worth $700 PC to a $300 PC that is just let you know how much of a difference it has caused. The story is well WRECK LESS overclocking and blue screen. I set everything back to default and did not want to mess with it ever since I have been dealing with this issue and had never had the time to fix it. Never really thought I deserved to find a solution at the time lol, learning from mistakes. I notice difference in web browsing simply watching a video. And I know there is a difference because I have another computer similar specs and works flawlessly with same everything, and it works how this PC used to. It feels as something is underclocked like I mentioned in the title I'm just not the person to be messing these settings right now I will just make it worse that why I need all of you. Anyways any help at all appreciated.

  1. Make sure your BIOS is up to date. That should fix that.

Also, go thru your programs and delete any bloatware or overclocking utilities.

So I should try to flash the bios i think it is up to date how should I check that? Sorry for late response btw.
  3. Go into the BIOS, then go to the website of your motherboards manufacturer, check the latest BIOS on the website compared to yours.

I have version F6 and the latest version not in beta is F7 should i attempt to update?
  5. Yes, always upgrade to the latest BIOS (that isn't a beta).

The task is complete. Issue still remains...
  7. Make sure the bios/uefi is first set to the optimal default values, after that set XMP to enabled so that the ram is working at rated specs, see if this makes a difference.

  9. Can you do the next?

    Quote:
    download hwinfo32,
    install and open it,
    check "sensors-only",
    click "run",
at the bottom of the window click "logging start",
choose a name and place for the log like "hwinfolog" at the "desktop",
this log can be viewed/opened with either excel from Microsoft or libre office calc.

If you upload the file to a site like dropbox or as it seems also good SaberCatHost could i also take a look at it,

please use a site without additional crap like opening extra windows or such.

    No problem here you go!

  11. That's a very short log. Try to make one of about 15min to 30min doing something intensive like playing a game or run a benchmark.
  12. Is this file better? it is Rocket League for around 17min, thanks for helping out I really appreciate it!
