CPU power connector is in the CPU slot BUT as you can see from the picture linked below the pins don't match the slots perfectly... but the round pins fit in square slots so it still fits.

The pins end that goes into the CPU mobo slot... Is the exact same as the pci-e connector...
It's labeled CPU... Is this right?

I currently am having problems starting my PC and want to know if this could be the cause? Here's the link to Original post

I'm not sure, yeah I went through all of that and no... The system had no response accept for the motherboard power button and RGB effect, every time I hit the power button the first time after its plugged in than the RGB resets as if it lost power than regained it real fast

You said you went through it all, but did you try booting with everything out of the case and on a non-conductive surface like a wooden desk? This will eliminate the possibility of the board shorting out against the case.

Often times, a short to the case doesn't actually damage anything, but sometimes caps will swell or there will be burnt marks where the board was affected.

Well, a round peg can fit in a square hole, but not the other way around.

The connector on OP's board appears to be keyed so that either will fit in it, but this seems like an obvious design flaw to me.
