i have a msi z170a gaming m5 mother board and i want to know if it will work with a skylake proccesor(specifically the intel core i5 6600).

It will, yes. But if you have the budget available for it, I'd suggest to grab the 6600k instead of the 6600 to allow for potential overclocking in the future.
