I have corsair vengeance lpx 2400mhz that will only run on single channel on this board and not dual channel. Every time i put them in the selected spots on the board, the board will not boot up.

RMA your board if the two right or two left slots don't work. This seems to be a common DOA symptom. Happened to me.

Okay, after leaving it sit all night with the battery out, i got it to boot in dual channel mode for about 15 mins, until i tried the XMP profile and then after all that it would not post. So should i just RMA the board back?

Looked at the pins today and no bent pins, cooler is fine on the top its not over tighten. Could it be the ram ?

If specific slots don't work it's your board or cpu. It's extremely unlikely to be a cpu problem as those are tested and binned.

I had a Crosshair Formula Z do this to me when i first got it, thought the other two slots was bad and ended up getting another set of ram and it worked fine. I don't know but it's pretty weird i've seen this before.

You could RMA or try other ram really. If your bios is up to date and everything is seated right.

I'd say RMA the board and if that doesn't work RMA the ram.

Bought new ram and it works in Dual Channel. Weird... time to RMA the old ram!
