When I put it in the docking station and use Admin priv. and check it, it shows ok. Can I format it and if so what format. Any help appreciated

Solution Ralston18 Mar 2, 2017 When you "check" the drive (i.e., the drive is "ok") no current format information is provided - correct? Overall all, you want the drive to be in a format (re-formatted) to something recognized by the DVR player. Not really sure where you are in the overall process. However if you google "cctv 500 disk drive format" you will find a variety of links and videos that may help. Take a look and narrow down the search criteria as is applicable to your situation.
