Hello everyone, my monitor got busted and I only have this old samsung which only has a VGA connection. My GPU is the gtx 1060 6G so it only has Dual Link DVI-D, HDMI & DP 1.4. I'm using Windows 7. Buying an adapter to connect the two is the only solution I have right now since I'm a university student and I'm pretty much broke at the moment.

I would like to know which way would be the safest since I've read different reports on adapters that just never worked or the GPU didn't recognize the screen etc. How would you go about it and would you use dvi or hdmi or displayport to connect to vga?

TL;DR : I want to connect gtx 1060 to vga monitor. What type of adapter would be best?
