16 or 8 Gb RAM for Z270

Hello everyone!

I am going to buy a new mobo ASUS PRIME Z270-A and CORE I7 7700k. So should I buy 2X4GB (cheaper solution) or 2X8Gb of DDR 4 RAM (CORSAIR 3000 MHZ)??? My main goal is gaming. I am ok with 8 Gb of RAM now so maybe I can buy another 2X4GB in the near future to fill all 4 slots.

What do you think?

Thing about high speed ram is that it might not work with 2 different kit.
If you getting 8GB now, for upgrade later, better to get 16GB to replace the 8GB

windows 7,8,10 require 4gb of ram to run properly. so sure you can use 8gb, but I always use 16GB or 32GB in all my systems its permits breathing room for the OS and programs to run without having to constantly relying on the pagefile.sys process (moving memory to hard drive cache and back) more memory you have smaller the pagefile.sys is being used, faster the computer is.

but yeah 8gb you pc will run... smirk

That sounds like a good plan to me. 8GB is enough for most things now and you still have room to expand later.
