Please confirm Asus EXT_FAN Fan Extension Card Connector type

Hello all,

I have the EXT_FAN card but not the 5 pin cable. Based on the connector, this looks like a JST-PH 5-pin connector. Could someone please confirm this? The male connector on the card does look identical to a male JST-PH 5-pin. If that's the case we should be able to use this cable.

That thread doesn't contain any information on the specific name of the connector at all. I've already seen that thread a long time ago. I'm looking for the specific JST model of the connector.

To your 2nd question:

Yes this card Does exist! It comes with Asus' mini-ATX boards and they are easily available on eBay. Obviously I already have one lying around and am looking to use it. I would also like to help many others who have this card but lack the cable. There are many people out there in my shoes.

If no one can confirm the connector name, I'll get a few JST models and try them out. Building a custom cable is a 1 minute job once the connectors have been identified.

My card which I bought on ebay is original asus card and comes with the cable
