Hi, im totally new to PC and tomshardware site, so spare me if i sound like a total noob.

Ive gotten a new pc pre built, and after some time i got it i started playing around with BIOS, and i learned about OC'ing. So i decided to OC my CPU AMD Radeon R8 760k ¨3.3ghz to 3.8ghz, and i am quit positiv i can OC it even further if i can gain stability gaining some more voltage, but i cant seem to find it in BIOS. The only thing i find is under VRM section wich says Voltage frequency but it only lets me change from 300, to 350, nor less or more.

Specs:
AMD A8-7650K Black Edition Prosessor
ASUS A68HM-PLUS, Socket-FM2+
HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz 8GB
ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ROG Strix
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5'' HDD

Again im sorry if i sound complete idiot, but im total new to this PC world, so feel free to spread some knowledge!

Solution
1| Are you on the stock cooling solution? If so you should be very careful with adding more voltage to your CPU, since more voltage means more heat output from both the CPU and the VRM area around the CPU socket.

2| You shouldn't be overclocking on the board because:
a| Your board lacks any heatsink on the VRM area,

b| You' just got your system, if you damage it due to a mishap in your overclock, you're definitely going to have your warranty claim rejected from the store you bought the system from.

3| Might I ask why you're overclocking? The A8 APU in itself isn't much of a powerful processor. The APU's were designed to work as a middle ground for budget...

4| You didn't include the make and model of your PSU which is considered to be the heart of the system. That fails, your entire system will fail.

Hi, and thank you for your feedback! When i bought the PC pre build i didnt really do much research into CPU, GPU, Motherboards etc.. i just bought some components from the site wich needed to build a PC, and apperently my CPU was really bad one. And i decided to OC it to make it perfom better in games, i dont have any lag/fps drop issues on eSport games.

But i bought Battlefield 1 and it runs 17 fps all time ingame, its totally unplayable right now, thats the reason i OC'd it!

I got a Cooler Master B500 V2 KOMPLETT Edition, so i dont know if that has an impact on my motherboard temp, or cpu or gpu really. And i dont quit understand what these PSU, DDR etc stand for quit yet, because im totally new to PC! ty for any feedback

And i plan on replacing this CPU with the new AMD Ryzen.
Or what kind of other CPU do you suggest i replace for better gaming performance?
