So im playing a game called Rust, but not the new (expermental) but the old (LEGACY)

My friend is playing that game on old pentium and old video card on 80FPS

While i play it on the lowest settings @60FPS (GTX750Ti)

I should be getting atleast 120FPS, if not more on lowest settings...
Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esc4ycXxJcw guy playing on my videocard on ultra graphics...

Drivers for card are updated...

My RIG!
CPU= AMD X4 860K (quad core @3,70Ghz)
GPU= GTX 750 Ti (2gb)
RAM= 8GB
Windows 10

Solution
Here's the requirements for Rust:
Minimum:
Core 2 Duo E4400/Athlon II X2 450
8GB RAM
Any GPU
Recommended:
i5-4430/FX-8300
16GB RAM
GTX 980

I got this from game-debate: http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=9210&game=Rust
You can try canyourunit.com, if you want, but the developers didn't clearly state the requirements for the game.
Also, keep in mind the game is in ALPHA and it's not optimized properly, nobody can predict how it will run on any system.
1) You do realize that he's only averaging 40 FPS right? 60 was his max.
2) The internet is full of people playing BF1 at 60 FPS on a Pentium 2 and GT 210. These stories and videos just aren't real.
3) He didn't display an on-screen FPS counter. How do you know he didn't just make up the numbers in the description? If someone has a computer with a video editor on it, they can make it put frames in between the ones the game produced, making the final video much smoother and appear to have a higher framerate.

Bro thats not the case, im telling my friend has 80fps on a pc that hardly runs LoL, and im getting less fps?

and my other friend has the same card as me he got 120fps on fantastic graphics and big resolution...

There clearly is a problem.. U only talked about the video, but i have real life friends as proff that there is a problem with the fps..

Did they overclock their cards and/or CPU? If so, is yours running at those OC speeds?

One of my firends is playing on a potato old ass pc getting more fps
The other havent OC hes card. I dont OC aswell..

I can play other games on decent frames like csgo med settings 200fps and h1z1 on 50-60fps
But rust is a game that should run on a 2005y PC but it aint running on my setup. There is clearly a problem.. Tried working around whit the settings no improvements

I know you said your drivers were up to date, but please try the below link anyway. Sometimes a driver update just doesn't go the way you want it to and you have to start over from scratch.

Well that didnt fix it entirely but it actually helped nice enought to get +15-20fps tnx

Okay. So we know drivers were part of the issue. Now that that's out of the way, we can turn our focus to software cleanup.

Please uninstall all programs that you no longer use.

After you've finished uninstalling and have restarted, please disable all startup objects that are not completely necessary. Steps below:
1) Press Control+Shift+Escape. Task Manager opens. Navigate to the Startup tab. If there is no Startup tab, hit More Details at the bottom left then click the Startup tab.
2) Take a moment to figure out what programs need to be running all the time. Nvidia drivers should be left alone. Anything that doesn't need to be running all the time should be disabled. Restart before expecting system behavior to improve.

Note that disabling a startup object does not stop its parent program from working. What a startup object is, is permission to launch said program at Windows startup and then continue to run it in the background until the user either stops it manually or shuts down. The more programs running, the more memory is being used and the more work the CPU is doing. The less programs running, the more responsive the system will be.

OP specifically stated that he was talking about the old Rust. Good information though. :)
