Frequent disconnections in all games (wired internet)

So about a week ago I started getting these odd disconnections in all games, it started slow and then it started happening a lot more often and now online gaming is unbearable, basically its as if my internet completely freezes for about 5 seconds and then continues as normal, the weirdest thing is that it only happens in online games - I don't get any disconnections while just browsing the internet. It happens literally in every game I play, no exceptions, but in Dota 2 for example it just freezes for 5 seconds and then I can continue playing (as annoying as it is), and in Tom Clancys Rainbow 6 for example, I just get kicked from the game immediately :( . I already tried a lot of different things, (cmd commands, playing around with some settings in routerlogin and the networking section in the control panel,) , I even tried reinstalling my ethernet controller drivers (killer e2200), I also called my ISP numerous times, only to get the same answer - to try and switch my router, which is a bit problematic since if I do switch it the cameras in my house will need to be reset and stuff which is a bother :( , in addition, I tried playing around with my ethernet cables, and even got new ones (I thought the cables might be faulty), but of course, no luck.

Thank you for your time reading :), any suggestion/solution is appreciated.

This can be many things but whenever I see someone say that they have a the killer chipset I tend to blame that. If you search you will find massive amounts of complaints of strange networks issues.

Your best option is to download the drivers from the killer site that have removed all the so called network accelerator features. This is mostly marketing garbage and is only used when you are doing stupid stuff like downloading files while you play games. If you only play the game on the machines there is no other traffic it will always get priority

If you can test another device it would also tell you if it is your pc or something else.

Not sure what you mean exactly but when I said "freezing" I didnt actually mean the computer freezes, the online game is just stuck in place, animations still work and stuff, so video-wise everything is fine, temps are also okay, this is for sure a connection problem, a very odd one at that, but still. another weird thing is that my brother plays online games just fine now, he's having no issues and yet we're connected to the same network.. I'm just lost right now.

For anyone else who experienced this very annoying issue - I fixed it by switching to a new router :), absolutely NOTHING else worked, and I've tried everything.
