Will SATA II HDD slow down SATA III HDD and SSD?

Well, the title is pretty self-explanatory I think but let me explain it a bit. I'm building a new PC and I'm going to get an SSD and one 1TB SATA III HDD (7200 rpm) for storage and one seemingly genius idea crossed my mind: why don't I use my old SATA II 1TB HDD (5400 rpm) as extra storage space, essentially creating 2TB of space. I'm planing on using that old SATA II disk as picture and video storage, new SATA III disk for games and whatnot and SSD for OS, photoshop/lightroom and Visual Studio.
So, once again, is SATA II disk going to slow down the other two down? If yes I don't really see the point in installing that disk and I guess I'll make do with 1TB of storage until I buy additional disk...

Thanks in advance

P.S. Just to clarify, I am fully aware that SATA II is slower than SATA III by default, not to mention slower RPM of the older disk. I am asking if that disk is going to slow my SSD and new HDD down.

Yeah, that's to be expected of course.
Thank You both.
