Hey forum!

I really hope someone manages to solve this as this error has been haunting me for months and is extremely annoying.

My computer randomly hangs up (A TDR error). My monitor looses signal and keyboard becomes unresponsive (wont respond to caps lock or anything). After around 10 seconds, the computer restarts.

I have looked at the dump files:

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+1555c8 )

Full detailed dump file: http://pastebin.com/KEhMeaFi

I have tried:
- Reinstalling the NVidia drivers (both newest and older ones)
- Reinstalling windows
- Replacing GPU and CPU
- Replacing PSU (Same model just newer)
- Vacuuming for dust
- Manually substituting the nvlddmkm.sys from c:/Nvidia/DisplayDriver

My GPU is the GTX670 wind force and the temperatures are 40oC (doubt as the problem started randomly and never happened before but the temp was always the same)

I cant move the card to a different slot as my bios thinks I'm using SLI and refuses to boot.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

The problem occurred over 2 different GPUs, but I'll try that anyway

I've had a dig in the device manager and found this:

Could this be a lead?

The PSU was the solution, there was not enough power supplied to the GPU which lead to the crash. All I did was disconnect extra drives and the CD drive(which I rarely use) and the problem fixed. That also explains why getting the same PSU didn't fix it, as the wire arrangements were the same.

Alright! So the problem started again after a couple of days with all the drives disconnected, so the PSU was not the problem, I just got lucky.

The real problem was Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers, I've uninstalled them and have not crashed for a week. The first thing I installed on Windows when I reset it was those drivers, so it seemed like it didn't fix it.
