Have a hp pavilion 550-150wb want to upgrade graphics card. Which do I need. Also figure need more power supply too. Can anyone help?

As in the Intel Core i5-6400 pavilion?
If so then the tower is using a 180W PSU - way too low for any additional graphics card.
The graphics card you want will depend on your budget, how much are you willing to spend?
by using that information we can decide what power supply you should consider buying; but realistically any future upgrades in addition to your GPU is looking at around 500W.

One thing to be aware of, most gaming cards are dual slot, meaning they take up the space of the expansion slot next to them too. Your computer has 3 slots, one of which is for the videocard, but is also using one of the other slots for something. If the slot being used is next to the videocard slot, you'll either have to remove that component and figure out another way to do whatever it is it's doing, or find a single slot videocard which seriously limits your choices.
