Got the 960 eve today, m.2 in a pcie adapter plugged into mobo. Reset my system, had WIN10 on a flash drive and reinstalled. The windows installer sensed all of my hard drives no problem, included the m.2/pcie evo. Installed windows on there, went to reboot my BIOS doesn't read the drive at all. I am able to install windows on it, but BIOS won't read it so therefore I cannot boot from the drive.

I have followed this thread, no dice http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3268621/samsung-960-evo-detected-bios.html?xtor=EREC-8889

I have an Asus Maximus VI Hero motherboard, on the latest BIOS. This is so annoying, please help.

there are usually options in the bios pertaining to things connected via pci slots. just look and see if there is anything in there, mine for example shows recognized devices and some settings for them

Turns out my chipset just doesn't support it. Was able to reinstall on my old SSD, using it as a separate hard drive now. Oh well, something to use when I go to rebuild in a year or so. Thanks for the support anyway.
