My Dell PC keeps crashing to a blue screen, every time I put my wifi password in!

Hi,
I just got a new dell optiplex 780 PC! Everything seems to be working fine. every time I connect my net gear USB wireless adapter and intstall it. Then as soon as I put the my wifi password in.. it goes to a blue screen, with a sad face and keeps crashing.. it doesn't even restart. I have to keep turning off the whole system manually! I tried to call dell but they kept transferring me 50 times! I'm pretty good with computers.. but I can not figure this out! I'm getting so frustrated!

I was having blue screens and adding passwords.. just after 20 minutes I was signing in again and again.. turned out to be a virus.. came in through my chrome browser.. from a online first run movie sight.. seems the CIA does some mirroring of webpages.. where they hook onto browsers.. you should read about the CIA leak here in Tom's..
my subscribed Norton virus service didn't pick it up.. my new one found it right off the bat.. this caused me lots of grief until the puzzle was solved.
