Again, you may be comparing different level/model cards. Some xFx have higher clock speed than certain ASUS.

Temperatures ... reference models like the xFx # RX480M8BFA6 have an enclosed design where air is drawn in one end, then blown out back of the case. These tend to run hotter with more noise. They are good for smaller cases or ones with poor airflow. Other Xfx like model # RX-480P8DBA6 have a better cooler and fan design. Heat is blown inside the case leaving the job to case fans. So better airflow is essential.

I recommend you check out this comparison: https://gpunerd.com/guides/best-rx-480

There are probably others, and I'm not too familiar with the RX480, as I've never owned one, but with any after market manufacturer there will be slight differences between them. Generally, they're just that slight differences.

Go for the less expensive one unless you research the individual differences and decide there's something you really want in the more expensive one.

Asus brand is more reputable. Some XFX heatsink are not as good as Asus. Not to mention the final performance also different.
Even though they uses the same gpu, but end performance differ. The last time I checked, Sapphire nitro is 5 fps better than powercolor red devil. I have not check it again.

You shouldn't worry too much about it. Just pick any1 AFTER you browse around what are they rough performance so you will not get dissapointed. For me, I would get the cheapest one with as best brand as I could get. If the price only differ $5, I definitely go with better brand, more, its not worth it.

Good luck

Dig deeper into the specs and read some reviews. Each brand has different models available. Look at the core clock speeds. And some have better coolers than others - not just fans. Twin heat pipe type heat sink vs three pipes for instance.

so i saw some benchmark xfx is prone to become hotter, meanwhile asus have more core speed because factory oc do you think it will affect my power consumption or overral pc performance(because of heat)?
what do you think is better?
