one fan spinning in asus strix 1080

opened case to see if new built pc is doing ok and my asus strix 1080 had one fan spinning on the left, I was downloading games and watching youtube during this, is my gpu faulty? i have talked to 2 other people with 1000 series cards and they said that theirs do that too

-update

all 3 fans start spinning when the gpu gets under load and then whenever I quit the load causer and the temps go down all 3 fans stop spinning, and then randomly it seems a fan starts spinning at idle

Not weird, sounds perfectly normal to me if i'm honest! When you are not gaming, it does not need the cooling as much. in simple terms.

Yeah I have a 970 GTX Strix 4GB card and sometimes, only one fan of the two is spinning. I know this is the way MY one is designed to work (the Zero db quiet gaming thing) Alot of the time neither of the fans spin! But temps are still very cool - thats the main thing here. Keep an eye on those!

but this one fan spinning thing only happens at idle, if i open a game all 3 of the fans start up, its so weird.
