Hi all,

I have the following problem. I start the pc, the mobo light come on, the cpu fan starts , the chassis fans starts, etc .. and after the vision of asus logo on my screen, the computer is shutdown immediately. When I reboot it again, the pc starts without problem.

Sometimes, I've received a differente problem. The pc starts, the asus logo is shown, and I receive an error that report that there is a problem with the cpu fan and tell me to reset the configuration on bios panel. But when i reach the bios panel, everything it's okay and the pc starts normaly.

I update the bios to the lastest version, and there is not any overclock enabled.

My configuration is:

Do you have a USB drive plugged into one of the ports? If so, remove it and try that. Especially if you have a UEFI/BIOS update on the USB, it will try to register it.

So a couple of things you can do. Reduce to one stick of ram and try that. Move it around and see if any sockets are bad. Try the other stick the same way and see.

Next I'd take the CPU out of its socket and check the pins. They should all be perfectly aligned. If you'd even be so kind if your eyes aren't that great or you're not confident just take a clear picture with flash and post it and I'll look at it.

Thanks for the proposed solutions. I resolve the problem. It was a fan speed problem: the min speed fan was wrong. I tuned speed by bios and now everything works perfectly.
