Is it time for a new gaming build? Or should I wait?

Hello everyone.
I'm currently about to get a new PC, which I'm going to use mostly for gaming.
My budget is 1250€ (I live in Italy); here is the build I think I wanted to get.

The prices have been adjusted, based on the e-store I'm going to buy the parts from.
I'm going to play at 1080p and I don't plan on buying a new monitor with higher resolution.

Now, this was before Ryzen was getting released. Therefore, many people told me to wait for Ryzen to come out, because it would've changed things, but now that it's out and it's great for everything except gaming, I'm here wondering what I should do.
Truth is, I really miss gaming, most of all in between my exams sessions at the university, and ordering everything right now, or at least before the end of this month, would be great.
I know I should be waiting for Ryzen 5, and for Intel to drop prices, but I don't it that will even happen here in Italy.
So, what should I do? Should I go for it, and later on overclock it? Should I endure until Ryzen 5 comes out, with the exception that the end of my university is getting closer and I will have even less time to play?

Thank you very much for reading this!

You forgot to tell us what your current CPU, video card, power supply, motherboard and operating system is. If you purchase a new motherboard you will need a new operating system [Windows 10].

For a CPU cooler I suggest a Noctua NH-12S. It is an outstanding cooler and easier than any other cooler to install. Go to YouTube to find installation instructions.

And, I do suggest you wait until April for AMD's new CPUs. Also, in April AMD will release their new video cards. Nvidia has already dropped the price of their GTX 1080 and released their GTX 1080 Ti - - Whatever AMD is releasing it has Nvidia fearful.

Ryzen isn't exactly terrible for gaming. Everything is optimized at the moment for Intel chips. If you're gaming at 1080p 60fps you won't see any difference between Ryzen and Intel. In a month or 2 the games will be updated to utilize ryzen properly. Then again if you don't want to wait what you have is fine and will last a while. If you're willing to wait the Ryzen 5 chips look pretty promising. I will say I'm a bit biased as I'm running a Ryzen 1700x with a GTX1080.

Until the 1600 CPU class is released, the current Ryzen 1700X is the sweet spot for price and performance. If you are only gaming an i5 from Intel or AMD's 1600X that will be released in April.

Again, however, please read my above post so we can see what you currently have for a computer.
