Cooling Loop monoblock not compatible with mobo's IO shield... HALP!

So I'm making a custom loop for my PC and it says on the monoblock desc. that its not compatible with the I/O shield of my mobo, what do I do??

if your motherboard can take a monoblock

then there should be one thats specifically for your board that fits ok

or it should say you need to remove the io shield

but either way it has to be a monoblock for the exact motherboard you have

they are not interchangeable with all motherboards--ie universal

not familiar with your board

but it may be that the monoblock itself covers some of where the io shield is

which would mean removing the io shield

try on youtube to find some one who has fitted one to see

had a quick look

yes looks like you either remove the io shield

or chop off any/possibly 2 of them--heatpipes that come from the io shield if you want to keep the io shield on

ie--its the heatpipes attached to the io shield that get in the way of the monoblock--not the actual shield

though you would have to double check this on asus forum to be safe
