Yesterday I had bought the last of my components for my new gaming pc build. Finally, when I put them all together and plugged in the hdmi cable, the screen says no resolution, I have tried using a vga cable, and a different monitor. When everything is on, the graphics cards fan spin, the cases fan spin and the motherboards lights are on. PLEASE HELP

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3
CPU: Intel i3 7100
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 750ti strix of edition

Solution
well i had the same problem.
have a gigabyte z170 gaming k3 with a i5 7600k (kaby lake) on it.
your mainboard is literally not able to bring you into the bios because it needs a known cpu on it so it can POST.
you can buy a cheap skylake (celeron for 40 bucks) or you can drive your pc over to a friend who has a skylake in his build. there is literally no other way than this. you have to use another CPU to update your mainboard, how and where you get it us up to you.
there are mainboards that can be updated without a cpu (on gigabyte boards its called q flash plus) buti checked yours and it doesnt have that function.

does it "beeb" when you turn on the computer. if so. the beep should tells you whats wrong. few thing you want to make sure is make sure your monitor works or your video card too. some time it could be simple as not fully plug?
