Long story short tech savvy friend attempted to change my 1TB seagate hard drive into a dynamic drive. Nothing appeared to have changed, after i restart my computer the hard drive does not show up under "my computer" and when i opened disk management there was a pop up that said initilize disk and there was a "disk 0" checkmarked. This "disk 0" shows 128GB under disk management and im wondering if this is my hard drive? Why cant I see my hard drive anymore after making it dynamic? To summarize Im trying to locate my missing hard drive after it has been converted to dynamic, alot of important things were on it.

Call your tech friend back.

No idea what he or she may have really done or attempted to do.

That person should have confirmed (to your satisfaction) that all was (is) well before leaving.

Do not mean to be harsh but there is a quote to the effect that a "little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing".

Find out what he or she did and have them fix it.
