Performance D-sub(analog) vs HDMI (digital)

hi friends,
my pc specs are
core i3 processor
ddr3 sandy bridge pci 2.0
6gb ram
500 gb hard disk
Nvidia geforce gtx 750ti/oc 2gb

My monitor has only one input port D-sub(analog).
I have connected my monitor using D-sub(analog). If I connected my monitor to HDMI port in graphics card using HDMI to D-sub converter, will I get HDMI performance.

Please help

Will HDMI to D-sub converter give any chance to improve video performance or to get high resolution.

There is no performance difference for any of the connection types. There are some IQ differences. Converting from HDMI to D-sub will only reduce quality if it does anything.

If your monitor only works with D-sub, go D-sub to D-sub if you can. Always avoid converters when possible.
