Hello. I have a problem to solve.
I want to upgrade something in my system since i got money now. So my question is, what should i upgrade?
I currently get 55-60 fps with some drops on arma 3 singleplayer.
25-55fps on highly scripted rpg server (arma 3) depends also how many players online since max is 130.
And now im getting some major fps drops constantly when playing GTA online. First it used to be 60fps all maxed. Except MSAA and antialising. I dropped some of the settings lower and still get some MAJOR fps drops. Its all smooth 60fps and suddenly whbaam 10fps for a millisec and so on.
I wonder if this could be also coz my computer is litwrally flooded with shit atm. So im gonna wipe it first to see.
But my main goal is to increase fps and maybe some settings.
Sometime I do play gta v with like 20 mods on. So thats why im thinking about RAM.
System:
i5-6400
Gtx970
8gb 2133mhz ddr4 RAM
258gb ssd
1TB HDD
I was thinking of upgrade like:
-i7 7700k
Or
- Gtx 1070 (could be a bottleneck with i5-6400?)
Or
8gb more ram
Which one should i get or what should i upgrade in ur opinion? Thank you in advance for answers!
