I have Intel i5 6600k 6th gen chip with MSI Z170A Gaming pro carbon mobo i have few doubts for making clear Would it still support/work skylake processor with Z170 Mobo if i update to the latest BIOS update for kabylake 7th gen processor i mean if i wish to upgrade my processor to these both 6th & 7th gen cpu 1151 would it work fine one more question does BIOS Update make any difference in performance need a valid answer thank you..!

As far as 6th gen cpu is concerned it should support without any bios update but for 7th gen cpus a bios update is necessary. You can find cpu compatibility here below under compatibility tab as for which cpu you are using. If you want drivers for any particular cpu click on the respective zip file under results tab

Updating BIOS does not remove any hardware support provided by the previous BIOS version.
All BIOS updates are cumulative (ie they include all improvements/support features of previous BIOS)
