Currently I have the A78M-E35 Mobo with a gtx 750 plugged into it. This mobo only has 1 PCI x16 Express slot but has an x8 slot below it I believe. My question is if I were to SLI / Crossfire could I put one GPU in the X16 slot which is my current gpu and another gpu in my x8 as well? Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Josh

I think there are a number of reasons why not.

1. I do not think the GTX750 has the sli connector needed.
2. I do not think amd has paid the nvidia sli license to support sli.
3. Dual gpu is a lousy idea anyway. You may get better fps benchmarks but gameplay is better with a single good card.
You avoid dual gpu issues such as stuttering, screen tearing, and non support in some games.

4. Any cpu you put in that motherboard will be weak and not really able to drive a high performing graphics configuration anyway.
