Solution geofelt Mar 4, 2017 I would opt for a 2 x 4gb kit so you can run in a faster dual channel mode. Yes, it may be a tad more expensive because ram sticks must be matched. To insure compatibility, go to a ram web site and access their ram selection app. Enter your motherboard, and you will get a list of supported kits.
