AMD fx 9370 motherboard

Hello everyone, i have a question, so i bought an amd fx-9370 but i am not sure if the motherboard GIGABYTE GA-990X Gaming SLI can handle the 220w?

You bought a 9370? With ryzen currently out? Why in the world would you do that? That cpu is nothing but problems and gets regularly beaten out by modern intel i3s. I would return it if you can and get a ryzen cpu.

No that board does not officlay support 220watt cpu's, not many do. The ASUS Crosshair V Formula does but even that comes with a disclaimer when using 220watt cpu's.
